Do Zelda and Link ever kiss? ›

In only three games in the entire series, Link and Zelda share a kiss or overly affectionate moment — Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link, the combined secret ending of the Oracle games, and Spirit Tracks.

In actuality, they almost never end up together or strike up a romantic relationship. Most of the time, Link and Zelda maintain a strictly platonic relationship, with even a few instances of them simply having a professional one. The few times Link and Zelda actually wind up together are exceptions to the rule.

Link can choose to tell Peatrice that he likes her, or he can reject her. If he tells her that he likes her, she will reward him with five Gratitude Crystals and Fi's comment will change to confirm that Link is interested in Peatrice, and advises him not to mention her around Zelda.

With Skyward Sword, the entire story is driven by their connection and Link's desire to be with Zelda. More than saving the princess, Link is saving a friend, a companion, & a partner – to say nothing of Zelda's own agency through it all.

Whereas 2006's Twilight Princess heavily implied that Midna harbored romantic feelings for Link, Himekawa's manga took things a step further by having her kiss the Hyrulean warrior before returning to the Twilight Realm. To make matters all the more awkward, the heartfelt kiss happened in front of Zelda.

After a few visits to her house at night, Peatrice falls in love and continuously day dreams about Link. Her father Peater (the Clean Cut Challenge owner from Bamboo Island) notices her daughter's diffrent attitude and asks Link to find the person that Peatrice is attracted to, without knowing it's actually Link.

It's also important to note that entering the battle with Demise is the point-of-no-return in Skyward Sword and, if you wish to fully complete the game, now is the time to find all of the Heart Pieces, Gratitude Crystals and, if you wish, fully upgrade all of Link's equipment.

If you reject her, she will just sit in a bored way like she always does. If you decide to have a relation with her (or however the results could be interpreted), she will be enthusiastic every time she sees you and make a heart shape with her hands.

The shipping between these two is a very common ship in the Zelda community, it's considered to be a rival ship to Zelink and has often been a debate on who Link loved more, however it generally is expected that Link loved both Mipha and Zelda and there was a love triangle between the 3 of them.

In an interview with TheGamer, Zelda's voice actor, Patricia Summersett, revealed that she believes Zelda and Link are in a relationship. "I know that [Link and Zelda] are in a relationship with each other, it's active, there's a lot of care and a lot of listening, and I just love that about it,” Summersett said.

They are never depicted marrying. Further still no Zelda is ever explicitly mentioned to be related to any Link as their mother or anything else. If they were to get Married Link would at the very least become a prince and thereby all his future descendants would be royalty.

Eventually, Paya and Impa talk about her feelings and she realizes that she is in fact in love with Link. Although she realizes it is likely to remain unrequited, Paya is happy just to know what it feels like to be in love and is grateful to Link for giving her this new emotion.
