Former Eagles defensive lineman Brandon Graham considering coming out of retirement: Source

By Dianna Russini, Zach Berman and Zach Powell

Former Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham is contemplating coming out of retirement, a league source said.

Graham, 37, spent 15 years in the NFL with Philadelphia before retiring in March. He is considering a return to the league after Za’Darius Smith’s sudden retirement announcement, which depleted the Eagles’ edge-rush room.

Week 7 is underway!

The early window of games has kicked off for Week 7. Stay tuned here for the latest.

What you're saying about tonight's game in London

Hully R., Rams fan: Good to see we’re not Puka dependent

Adam B., Rams fan: It would appear, the entire AFC South is the Rams House.

Gillman: Sean McVay is the best coach in the NFC West

Jason P., Rams fan: This Jaguar team could be the most poorly coached team in the NFL. They are embarrassingly bad.

FINAL: Rams 35, Jaguars 7

Matthew Stafford threw the most touchdowns ever in a London start with five, including three to Davante Adams. The Jaguars offense was a mess and the Rams suffocated it.

L.A. is 5-2 and enters a much-needed bye week to get Puka Nacua healthy.

Matthew Stafford vs. the Jags today

Matthew Stafford in London today: 21 of 33 for 182 yards and five touchdowns with a 117.7 rating.

Q4 1:49 - Rams 35, Jaguars 7

It was that kind of day for the Jaguars. It looked like Trevor Lawrence had a TD pass to Dyami Brown, but the ball was tipped, Brown slipped and they missed.

What I'm watching for the Browns vs. Dolphins today

On defense...

The Browns' defense has been great at home and knows it needs to carry things again today. The focus will be on limiting Dolphins running back Devon Achane and pressuring quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. The Browns play man coverage at the league's highest rate and count on their defensive front to disrupt opposing quarterbacks.

Myles Garrett doesn't have a sack in the last three games, so Garrett is anxious to change that. Garrett has been openly critical of the team's offense and lack of help the defense has received. Everybody is seeing the same things, so the best thing the defense can do is force turnovers and help itself with sacks and big plays.

Expect a bunch of quick passes to Achane and screens to both Achane and Jaylen Waddle. Miami will try to keep the Browns guessing with varied snap counts and potentially some straight-ahead runs with rookie runner Ollie Gordon II, but the Dolphins will only succeed if Achane can turn short passes into big gains.

Browns rookie defensive tackle Mason Graham is questionable with a knee injury. The defensive line is at its best when Graham and fellow defensive tackle Maliek Collins create pressure from the inside and make opponents pay for devoting extra attention to Garrett.

LONDON -- If it hadn't arrived long ago, that is very much your dagger. Matthew Stafford finds Davante Adams for a one-yard touchdown reception. It's a hat-trick at Wembley for Adams and Stafford becomes the first quarterback in London games history to throw for five touchdowns.

What happens in Rashee Rice's return?

Chiefs top receiver Rashee Rice will be playing in his first regular-season game in 13 months after a six-game NFL suspension to start this year, and there’s still at least some mystery about what his 2025 debut will look like.

Though quarterback Patrick Mahomes said he believed it would be difficult to keep Rice off the field, the Chiefs could exercise a bit of caution with Rice’s snaps while trying to ramp him back up into football shape. Rice is a physical wideout who excels with yards after catch, and he’s a perfect fit to complement speedy teammates Xavier Worthy and Hollywood Brown.

Jaguars WR Brian Thomas Jr. appears to have suffered an shoulder/upper body injury and has left the game.

Q4 4:58 - Rams 35, Jaguars 7

It's just not fair at this point. Matthew Stafford throws his fifth touchdown pass and Davante Adams has his third touchdown catch. This pairing has had a day!

What I'm watching from the Browns today vs. Dolphins

First, the offense...

It's the first home start for rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel, but expect a run-heavy game plan for both teams. Rain is in the forecast for at least the first half, and winds are expected to consistently be over 20 MPH with gusts reaching 45 MPH. The 1-5 Browns will likely lean on rookie running back Quinshon Judkins, who had his first dud last week after three straight strong games.

Why did Judkins only have 12 carries last week? The Steelers focused on stopping the run, and the Browns played from behind for much of the day. But mostly, the Browns are just a broken offense that's been unable to sustain much of anything. The Browns lead the league in dropped passes, per TruMedia, but their rookie quarterback dropped back 65 times last week. That simply was not a winning formula.

Gabriel has been throwing mostly quick, short passes, and that should continue today. Veteran tight end David Njoku is out with a knee injury, and the Browns will miss Njoku's blocking and his presence in the short passing game. When the Browns do throw, expect rookie tight end Harold Fannin Jr. to be frequently targeted.

Veteran right tackle Jack Conklin is in the concussion protocol and is questionable. If Conklin can't play, veteran Cornelius Lucas would likely start in his place after Lucas was a healthy scratch the last two weeks. If Conklin doesn't play, the Browns will have their seventh different starting offensive line group in seven games. Gabriel was sacked six times last week, and the Browns can't allow that to happen again even if the weather allows for the pass game to be a major part of things.

MINNEAPOLIS — Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter and left guard Landon Dickerson are in the lineup against the Vikings, giving both sides of the line of scrimmage needed boosts. They both missed the Week 6 loss to the New York Giants and were question for the Vikings game.

One under-the-radar change for the Eagles: Xavier Gipson is active for the first time since joining the Eagles and veteran running back A.J. Dillpn is inactive. The Eagles have struggled on kickoff returns this season, and they've curiously used players without kickoff return experience. Gipson, who was claimed off waivers on Sept. 22, has 45 kickoff returns. With Dillon inactive, the Eagles could give Tank Bigsby a bit offensive role.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Chiefs, for the second straight week, have cornerback Kristian Fulton as a healthy inactive on gameday. The 2025 free-agent signing, who inked a two-year deal in the offseason worth $15 million guaranteed, missed most of training camp after knee-cleanup surgery before also suffering an ankle injury early this year. He’s been a full practice participant the last two weeks, though, meaning the Chiefs must not figure he’s better than their other outside options. K.C. also will play its second game without left tackle Josh Simmons, who is away from the team for an undisclosed personal issue.

Here are the Chiefs’ inactives for today’s game against the Raiders:

  • CB Kristian Fulton
  • TE Jared Wiley
  • RB Elijah Mitchell
  • OT Josh Simmons
  • DE Malik Herring

LONDON — Travelling Jags fans haven’t had much to celebrate, but they have just seen Travis Hunter’s first NFL touchdown. The rookie, drafted with the second overall pick in the 2025 draft, now leads the game with six receptions for 85 yards.

Travis Hunter has first-career TD

Q4 9:06 - Rams 28, Jaguars 7

Travis Hunter finds the end zone. He takes in a 34-yard touchdown pass from Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars finally score against this tough Rams defensive front. It's Hunter, the two-way star and Heisman Trophy winner, first-career TD catch.

Can Chiefs stay mistake-free?

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes has taken more chances on deeper and riskier throws this season, but the Chiefs haven’t seen many negative consequences from those actions. Kansas City is tied for the lowest giveaway total in the NFL (two), as Mahomes has two interceptions — including a catchable ball that deflected off tight end Travis Kelce’s hands.

Can the Chiefs keep up that kind of streak, which combines both skill and luck? Las Vegas, as an 11 1/2-point underdogs, will need some fluky things to go its way to stay competitive in this one. The easiest way would be to force some Chiefs offensive mistakes that haven’t taken place often this year.

LONDON — Terrance Ferguson has found the end zone for the first time.

The Los Angeles Rams second-round rookie tight end and highest pick from this year's draft scored a 31-yard touchdown on a play-action pass from Matthew Stafford on fourth down. The touchdown gave Los Angeles a 28-0 lead over the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium.

Ferguson has struggled to see much playing time or targets as he's fighting the difficult rookie tight end transition. But with Puka Nacua out, Los Angeles has made him a focus of its red-zone attack with a couple of targets near the end zone.

What I'm watching today in Vikings-Eagles

The Vikings run defense. It has been bad. Minnesota ranks in the bottom third of the NFL in almost every meaningful metric, and the tape validates the numbers. It’s not just Bijan Robinson who did damage. Kenneth Gainwell glided through the Vikings defense, and Quinshon Judkins sliced it the following week. Limiting the opposing ground game is always critical, but that’s especially true this week. This Eagles offense has struggled. Saquon Barkley finding his 2024 form is one of the obvious ways Philadelphia can regain its swagger.

When these two teams faced off two years ago, D’Andre Swift shredded the Vikings for 175 yards in a 34-28 Eagles win. Personnel and strategies are starkly different now, but the premise remains. If the Vikings can force Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts into third-and-long situations, they should be in business.
