The fine print in the image says you will earn CT money on this offer. So does that mean you can use your Triangle Mastercard to get the 4%?

No, you cannot earn 4% if you pay by your Triangle MC.

Gives you whatever reward points the other CC normally gives for retail purchases. The point is that the Triangle MC will NOT award base CT money when buying gift cards. Only the bonus.

Make sure that they scan your triangle account number. The system doesn't prompt them to ask!
Last time I forgot to give them my number and they don't offer a refund on gc's once purchased.
Eventually, the Manager voided the transaction and I had to get new gc's. I used my Triangle MC just to get out of the store without any further hassles.

Good call to remember to scan the triangle bar code. However in the past when I forgot to have my Triangle bar code scanned, i called their support number, and was able to connect the transaction to my triangle account. That was a few years ago, so not sure if they can still do that. But something to keep in mind.

I always thought Gift Cards were final sale, but good to know they can void.

Yeah they have this discount every 1-2 months.....I remembered it used to be 15% off so pay $85 for a $100 gift card which is obviously better but this beats nothing...

Go to checkout, scan your CT MC so you qualify for the offer, and then pay with alternate card?

On my Triangle app, I scan the barcode of my Triangle account (which is tied to my CT MC).
Then pay with any other CC other than my CT MC.

Anyone ever had issues buying the gift cards? I tried paying with triangle master card, regular credit card and debit card and all seemed to go through with the machine saying approved then the gift cards wouldn’t activate and the whole thing got cancelled after a pop up on their computer. Spent 45 min with staff trying about 10 transactions with no luck. Never had this happen before.

Hi, will the giftcard offer stack with the 20$ct money on 100$ purchase at sportscheck if i pay using the gift card bought at canadian tire?
