Heavy rain, storms and high wind gusts across South Florida

ALL RIGHT, HERE WE GO. WE HAVE A BEAUTIFUL SCENE. AS YOU TAKE A LOOK OUT TOWARDS THE ATLANTIC SEA BREEZE DOING ITS THING WHERE WE’RE SEEING DRY CONDITIONS ALONG THE BEACHES. THE RAIN ACTIVITY MOSTLY INLAND, WEST OF 95 AND THE TURNPIKE. SOME SCATTERED SHOWERS ALREADY DEVELOPING THERE, RIGHT ALONG FORT PIERCE, FLORIDA RIDGE. SOME LIGHT RAINFALL. PALM CITY OUT TO YOUR WEST ALONG 95. WE DO HAVE A THUNDERSTORM MOVING TOWARDS INDIANTOWN, MOVING EVENTUALLY INTO LAKE OKEECHOBEE. THERE SOME HEAVY RAINFALL FALLING RIGHT ALONG ARUNDEL, SO YOU CAN SEE THAT IN THE AREAS OF REDS AND PURPLES. SO WE’RE PICKING UP ON SOME OF THAT THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY AND AS WE TAKE A LOOK FURTHER SOUTH, WE ARE WATCHING SOME SCATTERED SHOWERS ALREADY PUSHING OFF TOWARDS PAHOKEE TO BELLE GLADE, EVENTUALLY OVER TOWARDS THE WESTERN HALF OF THE STATE. DOMINANT EAST COAST SEA BREEZE WILL KEEP THE COASTAL AREAS RATHER DRY AS WE GO THROUGHOUT THE REST OF THE NIGHT. ON TOP OF SAHARAN DUST, WHICH DOES HELP LIMIT THAT RAINFALL. TEMPERATURES FEELING LIKE THE TRIPLE DIGITS ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE TWO O’CLOCK HOURS. SO KEEP KEEPING THAT RAIN CHANCE IN THE FORECAST IMPACT. WEATHER BECAUSE OF THE RAIN, HEAVY DOWNPOURS, ESPECIALLY FOR THAT COMMUTE HOME. AND THEN WE GET A NICE BIG BREAK FROM THE HEAT AS YOU GET CLOSER TO SUNDOWN. OTHERWISE, TEMPERATURES IN THE 80S ONLY FEELING LIKE THE 90S AS WE GO THROUGHOUT THE OVERNIGHT. BUT LIMITED RAIN IN THE FORECAST AS WE HEAD INTO YOUR WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. SO SCATTERED RAIN STILL CONTINUES THROUGH AT LEAST 4 TO 6:00, AND THEN AFTER THAT WE DRY THINGS OUT VERY NICELY ON SHORE. WIND CONTINUES AS WE GO THROUGHOUT THE OVERNIGHT THROUGH YOUR WEDNESDAY MORNING. NOW WE CAN’T RULE OUT MAYBE A STRAY SHOWER OR TWO, BUT WE’RE NOT EXPECTING TO SEE AS MUCH RAINFALL AS WHAT WE HAD YESTERDAY OR TODAY. VERY LIMITED ACROSS THE AREA NATURE. AND AS WE HEAD INTO YOUR THURSDAY, VERY SIMILAR PATTERN, JUST A FEW SPOTTY SHOWERS. SO DEFINITELY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE DRIER DAYS AHEAD. BUT KEEP IN MIND, WITHOUT THE RAIN, WE’RE GOING TO FEEL THE HEAT. I WOULDN’T BE SURPRISED IF WE DO HAVE A COUPLE HEAT ADVISORIES ISSUED AS FOR THE TROPICS QUIET CONDITIONS HERE OVER THE BROAD ATLANTIC AND ALSO THE CARIBBEAN SEA, NOTHING EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVER THE NEXT TWO TO SEVERAL DAYS, BUT I AM WATCHING SOME TROPICAL MOISTURE HEADING TOWARDS TEXAS AND INTO LOUISIANA IN THE PACIFIC. DIFFERENT STORY, A LITTLE BIT MORE ACTIVITY EXPECTED TO DEVELOP, BUT AT LEAST FOR THE ATLANTIC BASIN, IT WILL STAY QUIET FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. BEACH AND BOATING CONDITIONS THROUGHOUT THE REST OF YOUR AFTERNOON, WE ARE LOOKING AT THE SECOND LOW TIDE AROUND 5:15 P.M., HIGH TIDE COMING IN AT 10:00 TONIGHT. LIGHT CHOP IN THE COASTAL SEAS AT AROUND 1 TO 2FT. RIP. CURRENT RISK IS AT A HIGH LEVEL TEMPERATURES IN THE 90S IN JUPITER. UPPER 80S ELSEWHERE. SO AGAIN RIGHT AROUND AVERAGE FOR THIS TIME OF THE YEAR. SCATTERED RAIN AND STORMS CONTINUE. ALL THE WAY THROUGH THOSE EVENING HOURS AT LEAST THROUGHOUT SUNDOWN FOR THE MOST INLAND AREAS, LEAVING OUR COASTAL SPOTS PRETTY QUIET. PARTLY CLOUDY FOR TONIGHT, MILD OTHERWISE VERY MUGGY. YOU’RE GOING TO FEEL THAT HUMIDITY AND THEN BACK INTO THE 90S FOR TOMORROW. HERE’S A LOOK AT THAT SEVEN DAY FORECAST FOR YOU. CERTIFIED THE MOST ACCURATE HERE IN SOUTH FLORIDA. WE HAVE THE 90S AVERAGE DAY TODAY WEDNESDAY. WE’RE LOOKING AT THE LOW 90S. AND THEN WE’RE GOING TO HAVE OUR WINDS BECOMING MORE SOUTHEASTERLY. THAT’S GOING TO HELP OUR NUMBERS REACH THOSE MID 90S BY THE WEEKEND WITH SOME SCATTERED RAIN AND STORMS EACH AND EVERY DAY. WE’LL BE RIGHT BACK AFTER THIS
